David Schneuer born in Poland, 1905. He passed away November 1988 in Tel Aviv. He was best known for his lively depictions of women and men in nightclubs and bars. Schneuer was briefly imprisoned in Dachau, in 1932 for artistic dissidence in the theatre for producing work from a Jewish perspective. After he was released from prison he moved to Tel Aviv. His work is in collections worldwide.
